to Dr. Colin and April Moffett August 26th, 1990. In May 2020, he married his best friend, Chelsea, who was born and raised
in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Chelsea works for a healthcare staffing company called Aya Healthcare. Before that she was a social worker

Pastor J.D. has preached in Anson County for the past five years serving the rural church and is a Licensed Local Pastor
in the United Methodist Church. Pastor J.D. believes in a ministry that is rooted in the Gospel. A ministry that calls Christians
to show love, compassion, and grace to all people. He believes that the church is a group of disciples that are in the community serving those who are in need (whether spiritually or physically). He believes that all Christians are called into ministry with the gifts that God has given them, and that our walk of faith is a continual journey to learn and grow with each other and God.
He believes that in order for the community to become involved in the church, the church must first become involved in the community. We as disciples are called to go out into the world, and this means going out into the community
and being in loving fellowship with all those in the community.

Pastor J.D. also believes that a fruitful congregation is one that has laity that are passionate and equipped to be
effective in their ministry. Laity are the backbones of the church and should be encouraged, supported, trained,
and educated in ministry so that the church and community can grow together spiritually.
