Jessica is so pleased to be at Central UMC. She grew up in Tampa, Florida and is a lifelong Episcopalian.  She started singing in her church choir at the age of eight, and currently sings in the choir of St. Margaret’s Episcopal in Waxhaw.

At St. Margaret’s and other parishes she has attended as an adult, Jessica has served as a Sunday School and VBS volunteer, as well as in lay leadership. Her experience in lay leadership and love of the Church’s mission motivate her desire to serve Central UMC with her administrative and organizational skills.  

She is thrilled to support an amazing church staff and congregation. She is married with a teenaged son and daughter.  Prior to joining Central UMC, Jessica worked in elementary and early childhood education, and has a master’s degree in teaching from Fordham University.  

In her free time, Jessica enjoys cheering on her daughter at the CATA High School marching band, exploring new restaurants in the Charlotte area, and spending time with her family watching movies and playing boardgames.
