Come pick up your Central UMC t-shirt THIS Sunday, October 5 at either the Crossroads from 9:50-10:50 or in the Narthex, following the 11:00 service.

Lessie Ann Circle has its monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 7 at 10 AM.  We will meet in Room 124, the Pathfinders Room.

Central Friends is a social group from the church who had been meeting for 20 years. The Covid-19 virus shut us down until 2025.

We meet the second Thursday of each month (except June, July and August) for a noon potluck lunch, fellowship, educational and entertaining programs. Usually a day trip is planned in April or May and again in October.

We welcome couples and singles regardless of age. All we ask is that you bring a dish to pass (whether it is homemade or bought).

We will hold our regular meeting at 12 PM on Thursday, October 9 in the Hospitality Room.

November Trip...
During our November meeting on 11/13, we will take a trip to JAARS in Waxhaw. More information will follow on that.

Start stocking up on Halloween candy for October's Shareback Opportunity - Central's Trunk or Treat! Collection will begin on October 1!

We are excited to invite you to be part of one of Central’s favorite community traditions. Every year, families from our church and neighborhood come together for a safe, fun, and festive evening filled with candy, costumes, and creative trunks.

This event would not be possible without you! We need volunteers willing to decorate their trunks, hand out candy, and bring a little creativity to the parking lot. It’s a simple but powerful way to serve our community and share joy with kids and families.

The Grace and Mercy Circle meets the 2nd Monday of every month, either virtually or in person. Our next meeting is Monday, October 13.

Common Heart will set up a mobile food pantry at Central on Tuesday, October 14. Volunteers are needed to assist with set-up at 8 AM.  If you are able to volunteer, please click on the link below, or sign up on our sign up sheet in the Crossroads. More information will be sent to volunteers as the event approaches.

The United Women in Faith Indoor Yard Sale & Bake Sale is Saturday, October 18 from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. in the Family Life Center.

Children’s Sabbath is almost here!

Join us on Sunday, October 19, 2025 during both worship services as our children help lead us in worship at Central UMC Monroe.

Come celebrate the gifts, voices, and faith of our youngest disciples.

Great big THANK YOU to all who helped make the UWF church wide luncheon a success. From the women of UWF who decorated the tables, cooked on Saturday and helped serve on Sunday, September 28, baked amazing desserts and spread the word about the event to youth who helped with tables and friends who stepped in when and wherever needed. Also we want to thank everyone who came and supported the event.

We welcome those who are called to provide leadership of a music ministry team and serve with a church whose calling is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
