Please join us for Fall Kickoff this Sunday, September 13.  We will recognize our church leaders during worship and will enjoy fellowship immediately following the service in Central Hall.

Chalk It Up 2 Love will have its first distribution of the school year on Tuesday, September 15.  Please contact Virginia Duncan with any questions.

This month's Birthday Club will be on Thursday, September 17 at the Olive Garden.  The hosts are Edie Anderson and Marlene Carpenter

Our Memory Care Ministry launches this week! Please join us on Thursdays at 5:30 P.M. Over four sessions in September, we will cover:

• Caregiving & Disease education
• Communication & Behavior
• Supporting a loved one's independence
• Planning ahead

We are in need of Communion Stewards for our worship services on October 4, November 1, and December 6. Stewards assist with the distribution of communion during the first Sunday service of the month.

This month we will continue our Shareback supporting Chalk It Up 2 Love, a school supply collection and distribution that helps local Title I schools start the year strong. Your donations will go directly to students and teachers who need a little extra support to kick off the school year.

Let’s come together to make a difference in our community and show a little love through something as simple as a box of pencils or a pack of notebooks. Items can be dropped off at the shareback table in the hallway by the Prayer Garden. Thank you for giving generously! Central will host a Blood Drive this Sunday, July 19 from 9:30 AM–2:30 PM. The Big Red Bus will be parked in the lower lot near Barden Street. Your donation can save lives—please consider giving! See Irene Ward with any questions.

New Beginnings Circle will resume this Monday, September 21st at 6 P.M. in the Hospitality Room.  Please contact Linda Deese with any questions.

Please join the United Women in Faith at luncheon in the Family Life Center. This event will be held between services. The cost of attendance is $10 per person, and money will be collected at the door.

Central will host a mobile Common Heart Food Pantry on Tuesday, October 13.  Volunteers are needed to help set up for this event.  Many hands make light work! Please contact David Paschal at djp5616@gmail.com with any questions or to volunteer.
