September Shareback - Chalk It Up 2 Love
This month we will continue our Shareback supporting Chalk It Up 2 Love, a school supply collection and distribution that helps local Title I schools start the year strong. Your donations will go directly to students and teachers who need a little extra support to kick off the school year.
Let’s come together to make a difference in our community and show a little love through something as simple as a box of pencils or a pack of notebooks. Items can be dropped off at the shareback table in the hallway by the Prayer Garden. Thank you for giving generously! Below, you can find the list of preferred items as well as a link to the Amazon wish list!

Thank You From Chalk It Up 2 Love
On September 15th, we held our first Chalk It Up 2 Love distribution of books and school supplies. We served 63 classrooms and honored teachers' requests for their students' needs.
This is our 14th year serving the Title 1 schools in our neighborhood. We absolutely could not do this without this congregation's generosity. I thank you for every notebook, pack of paper, pencils, earbuds, and headphones that you donated. I appreciate every dollar you graciously gave to help purchase items to use when they went on sale.
Because you gave generously, from your heart, a teacher has the necessary supplies to give to their students who come to school with very little. Because of what you gave, a student has been gifted with the necessary tools to fully participate in class. Every gift matters!
We here at Central United Methodist Church continue to demonstrate that we are the hands and feet of Jesus. I thank you for walking on this journey with me.
Sincerely,
Virginia Duncan
