Youth Lock In- October 2nd
Central Youth (grades 6th through 12th) will have a lock-in at the church this Friday, October 2nd at 6 P.M. Plan to bring a snack or drink to share with others. Reach out to Julie Miles with any questions.
Lessie Ann Circle Meeting- October 6th
Lessie Ann Circle will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 6 at 10 AM. We will meet in Room 124, the Pathfinders Room.
Ongoing Opportunities for Connection
October Shareback- Candy Collection Drive
Start stocking up on Halloween candy for October's Shareback Opportunity - Central's Trunk or Treat! Collection will begin on October 1! We had around 800 people from the community come through last year, and we need all the help we can get to make sure there is enough candy to go around! You can drop off candy donations in the narthex, church office, or the Crossroads. Contact Julie Miles with any questions. jmiles@centralumcmonroe.org
Communion Steward Volunteers
We are in need of Communion Stewards for our worship services on November 1 and December 6. Stewards assist with the distribution of communion during the first Sunday service of the month.

Future Opportunities for Connection
Common Heart Food Pantry - Tuesday, October 13
Central will host a mobile Common Heart Food Pantry on Tuesday, October 13. Volunteers are needed to help set up for this event. Many hands make light work! Please contact David Paschal at djp5616@gmail.com with any questions or to volunteer.
Adults With Special Needs Fall Party- October 17th
Come join us for a dinner dance! CUMC’s Sonshine Class hosts a Fall Party for Adults with Special Needs. Time: 5:00-7:00 P.M.
Trunk or Treat Trunk Sign Up- October 31st
Central’s Trunk or Treat is coming up on Halloween, and we’d love for our Central members and friends to be part of the fun!
It’s a fun way for our church family to help welcome our community and make the evening special. You can be as simple or creative as you’d like! If you need any props or costumes, reach out to Julie to see what is available at the church. Also, plan to bring candy to pass out at your trunk.

Click the person icon at the top right
Scroll to App Settings
Click on Notifications
Ensure that General is toggled on and lights up green
You are good to go! Now you won't miss any communication from the church!

Tap Create an Account (in gray above the email box, on the right)
Enter your first and last name, email, and create a password
The app should remember your password so you won’t need to log in every time
