Ongoing Opportunities for Connection

October Shareback- Candy Collection Drive

Start stocking up on Halloween candy for October's Shareback Opportunity - Central's Trunk or Treat! Collection has begun! About 800 people from the community came through last year, and we need all the help we can get to make sure there is enough candy for everyone! You can drop off candy donations in the narthex, church office, or the Crossroads. Contact Julie Miles with any questions. jmiles@centralumcmonroe.org

Communion Steward Volunteers

We are in need of Communion Stewards for our worship services on November 1 and December 6. Stewards assist with the distribution of communion during the first Sunday service of the month.

You can sign up in a variety of ways: in person during Sunday service, by speaking to Erica Kirby, calling the office at 704-289-2186, or clicking one of the links below:

Future Opportunities for Connection

Trunk or Treat Trunk Sign Up- October 31st

Central’s Trunk or Treat is coming up on Halloween, and we’d love for our Central members and friends to be part of the fun!

It’s a fun way for our church family to help welcome our community and make the evening special. You can be as simple or creative as you’d like! If you need any props or costumes, reach out to Julie to see what is available at the church. Also, plan to bring candy to pass out at your trunk.

Church Announcements

Thank You for Supporting United Women in Faith!

United Women in Faith extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported the recent luncheon! Whether you joined us for delicious food and fellowship, contributed to our mission fundraising efforts, or lifted our church and its ministries in prayer, your support made a difference. Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $800 to support our mission efforts!

We are so grateful for your kindness, enthusiasm, and continued support as we work together to make a difference in the lives of others!

Caring for One Another at Central

At Central, caring for one another is an important part of who we are as a church family.

Whether you are facing illness, grief, a difficult season, or simply need someone to listen, you don’t have to walk through it alone.

Central offers several caring ministries, including pastoral care and visitation, Stephen Ministry, and professional counseling. Each provides support, encouragement, and a caring presence when you need it most. Sometimes the first step is simply letting someone know you need care.

We invite you to learn more about these ministries and the ways Central can walk alongside you.

Central is here to care for you — in every season of life.
