Sunday Mornings

Children are welcome and encouraged in all of our services.

Infants & Toddlers

We believe that they learn their faith and worship by participating with their families in one of our unique services.  There are nursery is in room 107, and  aound the corner, in room 108 you will find the 2 year-old nursery.  Please sign the children in and out, and make our nursery staff aware of any allergies or special needs. We ask that you not bring sick children to the nursery, in consideration of the others.  Also, labeling your supplies would be most helpful.  We have a very competent paid nursery staff with volunteer assistants, eager to love and nurture your child.

During the 8:50am Contemporary Service

Our contemporary service takes place in our Central Hall.  Children actively participate at the beginning of the service as acolytes.  There are worship bags located in a basket near the stage for children to have activities to work on during the service.  After the welcome music and greeting times we invite any young children to come to the front for a children’s message.  Then children up to 5th grade are invited to leave the service to attend a special Kids Worship Service with music, prayers, praises, God sightings, a message followup, scripture memorization and more.  Some 5th graders prefer to stay in the service which can ben beneficial as they can sit still long enough and comprehend the message in the sermon.

Sunday School begins at 10:00 am

The children’s education wing is upstairs, down the hall from the services, and to the right.

Our preschool Sunday School class is in room 108.  They use the Deep Blue Preschool curriculum.  Children experience Bible stories in age-appropriate ways to grow their faith, while fun extras like art, games, and science experiments engage all their senses.

Elementary-aged children grades K-2nd meet in room 110 and 3rd-5th in room 111.  Please sign your children our with their teacher each Sunday at the end of the Sunday School hour at 10:50.  We are not able to release your kids to any siblings.

During the 11:00am Traditional Service

Our traditional service begins at 11:00 am, in the sanctuary.  A book cart with worship bags is located in the narthex (foyer).  While we currently offer infant, toddler and preschool care during this service, all children are welcome.  Occasionally acolytes participate in this service.
